My house really loves rice krispies! But I thought it'd be fun to mix up the traditional rice krispies and make some Cookies N' Cream krispies! Really, any cereal would work but you have to make sure its not too sweet (like cinnamon toast crunch, frosted flakes...etc.) This recipe is so simple to make!
Recipe:
1 tablespoon butter
3 cups marshmallow (mini)
4 cups cookies n cream cereal
1 tsp vanilla extract
Servings: makes 10 2x2 inch bars
Step 1: Melt your butter in a small pot and put your marshmallows in it. Remember, the flame has to be on low!
Step 2: After marshmallows has been melted, take pot out of the flame and put vanilla extract in it. Vanilla extract has alcohol in it so if you put it with the flame on, it would evaporate into nothing. So make sure its out of the flame! :3
Step 3: Pour your yummy treat in a parchment lined baking pan and use another piece of parchment to shape it into squares! I also made regular rice krispies since I had some on hand =) But follow the same exact steps, except use a diff. cereal! And you're done!
Wish I had more pictures but my people in the house ate most of it before I could take more pictures! I swear.
