Honey Whole Wheat Italian Crusty Bread

Whole wheat honey italian crusty bread!! MMMM, I just love bread and this bread goes great with some extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It's so hearty and fulfilling. Definitely satisfies that carb craving!!



Yields: 2 small loaves

Recipe:
3/4 cup warm water
4 tablespoon honey
sprinkle of cornmeal
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 package dry yeast or 2.5 tsp yeast


Step 1: Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water and let it foam for 5 minutes!
Step 2: Add honey and salt into the mixture, along with the bread flour


 Step 3: After the bread flour is mixed through, add the whole wheat flour!! Let knead for 10 minutes! It should be elastic!!


 Step 4: Shape it into a ball and put it in a greased bowl and let rise until double its volume. Meanwhile, sprinkle a cookie sheet with cornmeal!

 Step 5: After dough has risen, punch it down and reshape it into any shape you want. Cut slits on it to make it fancy!

Step 6: Bake at 400 for 35 minutes and you're done!!
